Testimonials
Don't just take our word for it.
We’ve worked with a range of amazing clients all around the Pacific Northwest on projects big and small. Here’s what they have to say about us.
Camp Prime Time extends a HUGE heartfelt thank you to Poppoff Inc for our beautiful new fire pit. Camp Prime Time, a Yakima based nonprofit, was in need of a new fire pit as the original 35 year old fire pit was in bad shape and disrepair and there was no way Camp Prime Time could afford to build a new one. Mike Poppoff, of Poppoff Inc came to the rescue. In the late summer of 2019, Mike spearheaded a team of his fellow members of the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) from across the country. Mike and his fellow ASCC members came together to fund and build a beautiful new fire pit area for Camp Prime Time and our special camper families. Mike worked closely with the camp staff and Board of Directors to design the structure, meet US Forest Service guidelines, and ensure it would be durable. Together they recruited several local business in the Yakima area and the state to help on the project by donating some of the necessary funding and materials. To top it off this entire project was completed with a net zero cost to the camp!
Fully completed it is now a focal point of the camp. Children and parents sit and sing campfire songs, eat s’mores, watch the burning embers and get a chance to just relax in a wilderness setting and enjoy the soothing atmosphere of Mother Nature at her finest. Sometimes it is the first campfire these kids have ever seen, or their first time making a s’more on a stick, or getting to join in on a real live campfire sing along. Most of us have experienced being captivated by a campfire, we don’t know why, we just are. Now, these kids, thanks to the leadership of Mike and the generosity of the members of ASCC can be captivated too.
A hearty thank you to Mike and Matt Poppoff, Poppoff Inc, and the members of the ASCC for helping Camp Prime Time fulfill its mission: “to enrich the lives of families with children who are seriously ill or disabled by providing an outdoor wilderness experience where families can enjoy themselves in a supportive atmosphere without financial burden.”
We have enjoyed working with the Poppoff team on our project at McCain foods in Othello, WA. Poppoff has stepped up each time we needed them during this very long project. The dedication of the crew shows in the way they deal with our never-ending changes and difficult pours.
We appreciate the leadership they have chosen—Robert Kimball and Cody McMillin are top shelf guys. They have been true team members on this project, and I would love to have them on all my projects in the future.
Knowing that when something went sideways with a piece of equipment due to unforeseen circumstances, Poppoff would show up on the job to help pull hoes, bring parts or help coordinate. This is very encouraging, especially during this time of minimal customer service.
Poppoff Inc. was a key factor in the success of our Richland, WA freezer project. Matt Poppoff’s vision on how to attack the project was invaluable, the quality of Poppoff’s slabs are second to none. I would highly recommend a partnership with this company.
Baker Construction and Development Inc. is currently finishing a 106,000 SF concrete tilt-up building in the Spokane Valley for a client that wanted to reduce expansion joints in their slab as they are problematic to their operation. Matt Poppoff was recommended for the project because of his extensive experience with macro synthetic fibers in combination with increased expansion joint spacing. Matt’s knowledge was invaluable during the slab design and Baker is extremely happy with the final product. We were also pleasantly surprised that their pricing was competitive and they worked well with the local subcontractor doing the rest of the building concrete. We look forward to more successful projects with Poppoff Inc.
I would like to commend Poppoff, Inc. on the excellent concrete work that they provided at our facility in Pasco, WA. Work was completed on time, within budget and with high quality. They were instrumental in assisting in design specs which allowed us to achieve substantial savings over bids.
In addition, since the Pasco project, we have reached out to Poppoff for other advice related to concrete, inspection and testing. We always get great advice. I would highly recommend Poppoff, Inc. for concrete work.
"Poppoff completed two different jobs for our new construction residence. The first was a set of 16 steps and a sidewalk from the street to the front door area. The rise and run of the steps are perfectly balanced so that anyone using them can do so with ease. We have, in fact, received complements on the steps for that reason. The finish on the steps and sidewalk is attractively done.
The second job was completing our driveway. Despite the steep grade, Poppoff’s crew completed the job well. They prepared the foundation of crushed rock, added rebar for added support, coordinated with Air FX who installed heating tubes, added fiberglass to the cement mix to minimize cracks, and completed the finish exactly to our specifications all within our budget. Additionally, the members of the crew were always pleasant and easy to work with. Following the completion of the job, everything was cleaned up including the street. We enjoyed working with the owner Matt Poppoff. We are impressed with his professionalism and integrity. We were even more impressed when we heard that his company had donated supplies and labor for Camp Prime Time. “
